Andrew Garfield

Andrew Russell Garfield is an American actor, producer, and director who was born in Los Angeles California. His credits are The Social Network (2010), The Amazing Spider-Man 2012 and Hacksaw Ridge in 2016. Garfield began his acting career as a theater actor before making his television debut in 2005, with Sugar Rush as well as his feature debut on film with Mumbo Jumbo. Following his breakout performance with The Social Network (2010) Garfield was a Spider-Man in the 2012 remake which was directed by Marc Webb. He is the child of American Richard Garfield and British Lynn Hillman and has an older brother who is named Ben. When he was three, his parents moved together from the United States to Surrey England. He began acting lessons at a young age and was a part of several school plays. In London, he took his first stage steps at the Central School of Speech and Drama.
