She had to switch schools from Northlands and then Hill House. Then she went to Queen's Gate School, where she learned dance and participated in productions. After she turned 16, she quit school to pursue a full-time career in acting. From a young age Taylor-Joy knew that she wanted to become an actress and her goals were realized when she was approached for a modeling gig from Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
